1951 Ford F3
Price : $ 9,000
My very nice 1951 Ford F3 Fact Sheet:
The passenger side window rolls up and down perfectly; the driver’s side however needs some attention.
If you take it through an automatic car wash as I have done you will want some towels inside to stay dry; that sort of thing.
Overall all the body is in really good shape. As I am sure you know if you wanted to do a body of restoration you could put lots of money in it; but I never really had the desire or the money to do that. The floor boards in the bed are original, sound and show years of use, which made it all the more acceptable to me to haul top soil, plants, etc. for my yard and wood for the fireplace. Kits are available to put in new hickory flooring in bed.
Mechanically I think the highest priority would be rebuilding the brake cylinders. There are several good parts houses available for this vintage truck; I used one called Blue Oval Truck Parts out of Calif.
The interior is in really good condition; new upholstery, all new gauges, new radio, speakers, heater and air conditioner, I finished out the dash a bit with armor plate looking material to match the aluminum armor plate kick panels. Does need the actual cardboard box part of the glove box, readily available; the glove box lid with VIN# is the original. The speedometer cable needs to be looked at calibrated or something as the speedometer says you are going much faster than you are.
New bumper to bumper 12gauge wiring. Very heavy custom rear bumper, lights and armor plate compliment on the back of the bed drip pan. Also installed the receiver part of the hitch if you want to pull a trailer and i am pretty sure we ran the wiring to the back to add a trailer brake. Tail gate is totally sound; great shape.
Brand New 10 ply radial tires on the original rims and original hub caps. The C6 automatic is perfect, the 302 V8 vintage 1970's runs really good, it has a 2barrel carb, brand new electronic ignition, new battery, new radiator, The rear end and all suspension is original. Might look into some new front end components like kingpins, etc. but she drives well as is. The gas tank is new also from Blue Oval as are the dash gauges. Most Ford enthusiasts consider the F3 the first one ton made; for sure it is a heavy duty ¾ ton. I have all the manuals, and other books and all receipts for the truck; in excess of $12500.00

1953 Ford F600
Price : $ 4,200
1953 F600 Flatbed, was used by grain company in Indiana for years. 1957 V8 (292). It has a 2 speed axle. Good tires with a couple of spares on rims. Runs but brakes have no pressure (may just need to be bled), I am not sure. Cab is best I have seen in a long time. Previous owner started to restore. New tinted glass all around. New wood in Knapenhide bed. I was told the tilt bed works but have not tried or checked fluid. Nice Old Truck!

ClassicTruckForSale.net is a web site dedicated to buyers and sellers of classic pickup trucks, panel trucks, Suburbans and more. We like old cars, hot rods, street rods, muscle cars and the like, but we're truck fans! We know a few things about classic trucks and we want to help you get your truck to a good home.
Selling a Truck is FREE - We will use ad revenue to support the site for as long as we can. This allows you to list your truck for free. Sometimes people have to sell their truck, when they really don't want to for economic reasons. That's bad enough. We're trying to make it a little less painful.
Buying a Truck? - Most people are honest. Just remember, we have no way of knowing if a truck listing is legitimate. Most are, but please be careful with any transaction. Always buy a truck in person with money and title in hand. Always take the truck and title together. Never agree to turn over money and have the owner send you the title later. There are just too many stories of people sending money and not getting their truck.
